En dan even iets heel anders. Vorige week kwam ik foto’s met ‘doodles’ van dr. Propulus tegen op internet. Vooral de eerste foto die hier gelijk onder staat sprak me erg aan: een jonge vrouw in een moderne outfit maar met de getekende contouren van een historisch kostuum. Fantastisch! Nu ben ik de hele winter al een beetje bezig met tekenen en schilderen, naast het kostuumnaaien, meer daar over volgt. Dit ziet er zo leuk uit, dat ga ik ook vast eens proberen. Een paar geschikte foto’s uit een modeblad kiezen en tekenen maar. Wel met de hand, want dat vind ik het leukst.
And then for something completely different. Last week I came across images of Dr. Propulus on the internet: photos with doodles. Specifically the first image, right above, tickled my imagination: a young woman in a modern outfit with the drawn contours of a historical costume. Apart from costuming I’ve been occupied all winter with drawing and painting, more on that will follow. This looks so cute, I will probably try that out myself. All I need are a couple of appropriate photographs from a fashion magazine and a gelly pen. By hand, because I enjoy that most.
