Het is vandaag prachtig weer: lekker koud, een blauwe lucht en een zonnetje. Ik heb zomaar een dag vrij genomen en dat komt goed uit: ik ben flink aan het (op)ruimen en spullen wegdoen. Dat was ik al een tijd van plan, maar ik heb echt een stok achter de deur nodig. En die stok is de aanleg van de nieuwe centrale verwarming in april. Wij hebben nog allemaal oude gaskachels en die gaan op alle drie de verdiepingen vervangen worden. Een hele klus waarbij we flink wat bergruimte verliezen, vandaar het opruimen. Dus dat betekende vandaag wat tripjes naar de glasbak, papiercontainer en nog zoal. Ik had expres mijn pocket camera meegenomen, want ik wist dat ik onderweg van a naar b wel wat zou zien. En ja, mijn oog viel o.a. op de kleurige reflecties in de grachten. Zie hieronder.

The weather is beautiful today: rather crisp, with a blue sky and a gorgeous sunshine. I have taken the day off and it’s rather convenient: I am clearing. I was planning that for a long time, but I really need an occasion to get me started. And the occasion is the replacement of all our old gas heaters for a new central heating system in April. Quite an undertaking with which we will loose some storage space, hence the clearing. That involved some trips to the glass and paper containers and all that today. I purposely had taken my camera with me on those trips, because I knew I was going to see some stuff. And yes, my eye fell on the colourful reflections in the canal. See above and below.
