Commission: Capturing performance of ‘Fragile Earth’ by Antjie Krog

Over the last few weeks I had four photography commissions, in this blogpost I’ll give you an impression of the last one which took place on Saturday, 15 April. I captured the performance of the poem ‘Fragile Earth: A mass for the Universe’ written by South-African author Antjie Krog. In this poem Antjie draws attention to the relationship we have with the earth and invites a new perspective. The long poem, which she wrote in the form of a mass, was read aloud and interspersed with short reflections, music and dance.
