I have collected cabinet cards, vintage photos and postcards dated from the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century for a while now and I can say now that I have quite a collection. I love seeing these images from the past and when I come across these old photos in a small antique shops or on markets I simply cannot resist purchasing them.
Some artists use the original photos in their art, I simply don’t have that courage and use photocopies in my art journals instead.
Since the cards and photos are quite pretty I decided to scan them at high resolution and sell them in my new Etsy shop as printables. That means that you can download them and print them yourself (or have them printed for you).
Do you have that too, that interest for nostalgia?
