IJmuiden, we keep coming back to it for the hustle, the bustle, the fresh fish, and other nautical elements. This is a series on fishing nets and ropes, they were just sitting there in piles on the quay. The people who work there don’t give it a second thought, but I was super excited to see all these colors, patterns and textures. And again, these images could be used as jumping points for paintings as well as being appreciated as they are.
