This week’s pattern in the Slow Art Party was Row. You can clearly see why Amy choose this word for this pattern. We made simple brush strokes in watercolour in a straight and elongated movement with or without a little twist at the end and doing it slowly.
This row of green brushstrokes remind me of green beens or haricot verts.
But of course you can turn them in any direction you please.
Here I used the pattern in my sketchbook which has a larger than the small pieces of paper we normally practice on and I combined it with the botanical pattern Orb.
