And finally, please let me show you our costumes! We put a lot of time and effort in making them and turned out beautifully! In the end our group was quite large, 10 people, and my friend Miss V. who sewed all the costumes except mine, swore that this was too many and next time we had to tackle this in a different way. Anyways, the whole group looked beautiful!
Our theme this time was Winter Czars, I showed you our concept plans before we left. We had purchased beautiful fabrics in Paris, France last May and really no expensive or effort had been spared to make our appearances look stunning.
And then the Corona virus came along. Lots of visitors stayed at home, streets and square became almost empty and we were thinking about going home earlier than planned. A few of us did, but I stayed with two others until our original departure day. It was a bizarre situation and it felt no longer good to parade around in our costumes. What a strange end to our adventure.
