Motion blur with flowers

motion blurred Echinacea purpureaLast Sunday the weather was so beautiful that I decided to take a walk around the Vondelpark; I really want to go outside for a bit. It was pleasantly crowded, apparently more people had the same idea, but it wasn’t so crowded that you couldn’t move. At first I tried to capture some sunflowers in my street, but the wind was so strong that I decided to photograph them with slow shutter speed and thus creating a motion blur. During pressing the release button I moved my camera up and down, which creates a swiping motion in the photos. I was in the mood of doing something else than what I normally do and these photos have a different energy that also makes me happy. It is good to come out of my comfort zone so every now and then.
