Texture

Like color, texture has no meaning, but it is more subtle to perceive.
Texture is everywhere, but we often don’t get beyond “soft” or “rough.”
Textures are about feeling and seeing, sensing the surfaces in our immediate surroundings:
from the flakyness of chipped paint to the gleaming smoothness of a car.
