Het heerlijke van contemplatieve fotografie is dat je het overal kunt beoefenen, zowel thuis als op reis. Fotograferen in een andere omgeving dan je eigen, vinden de meeste mensen aantrekkelijker dan in of rondom hun eigen huis. En daar zit ook een zekere mate van spanning en opwinding in. De kunst zit ‘m er dan juist in om je eigen vertrouwde en bekende omgeving nog fris te kunnen bekijken.
Dat gezegd hebbende, laat ik hier de eerste foto’s zien die ik genomen heb met een ‘echte’ camera. Hieronder volg een aantal uit het Flickr album.

A wonderful aspect of contemplative photography is that you can practice it anywhere, at home as well as on travel. Making photos in a different environment than your own, is more attractive to many people than in or around their own home. And of course that has a certain appeal and excitement to it. The art is then to be able to look fresh at your well known and familiar surroundings.
