De tijd tikt door en over een maand zitten we al in Venetië voor het carnaval. Ik kan nog niet zeggen dat ik last heb van kostuumstress, maar ik merk toch wel dat ik moet doorwerken. De sociale afspraken staan nogal op een laag pitje en ook mijn vriend K. merkt het aan onze ‘quality time’ samen. Het lijfje is af op de vetergaatjes na en het zogenaamde ‘modesty panel’, dat is een stukje stof dat achter de vetergaatjes komt zodat je niet het ondergoed of de blote huid ziet. Op het pofbroekje komt nog een tailleband en voering. Momenteel werk ik aan de jas.

Time is ticking away and in a month we’ll be in Venice for the carnival. I can’t say yet that I have costume stress, but I notice that I have to keep working on the costume. Socializing is low at the moment and my boyfriend K. also notices that our quality time is a bit limited these days. The bodice is finished except for the lace holes and the so-called modesty panel, that is a piece of fabric attached behind the lace holes so that the undergarments or bare skin are invisible. I still have to attach the waist band and lining to the full breeches. Currently I am working on the outer jacket.
